Eyelashes need to be prepared before to apply mascara.
First, curl your eyelashes. To get a great curl, apply eyelash curler right at the roots of your eyelashes and hold for 10 seconds, then release. Then move eyelash curler to the middle of eyelash length, squeeze for 10 seconds and release. Repeat few times, moving curler towards the end of eyelashes.
Second, apply primer or booster. Everyone, who wants to learn how to apply mascara to make eyelashes look bigger, can use a little bit of booster. We recommend Lancome Cils Booster XL, apply thin layer of Lancome Cils Booster XL and let it dry. The best way to apply booster is to make horisontal wiggle next to the roots of eyelashes and then apply it to full length. Make sure Cils Booster fully dries before to apply mascara, otherwise eyelashes will appear clampy.
Third, get a right mascara.
Mascaras are formulated from wax, pigments and resins which are then dissolved in either water, petroleum jelly, or a combination of both. If mascara is waterproof, it made of petroleum, it is harder to remove and may leave clamps. That’s the reason why we would recommend to apply only one – two layers of waterproof mascara to eyelashes.
Waterproof mascara would be the last step in mascara application.
So use regular waterbased mascara, designed for your type of eyelashes. Use lengthening or thickening mascara, apply 3-4 strokes next to the eyelashes roots, moving wand horisontally. Wiggle mascara wand horisontally to lift eyelashes. Then make a stroke to the end of eyelashes. For volumizing effect try to do 5-6, up to ten strokes, fast without drying. Then let it dry and apply waterproof mascara one time.
